Before spending time in Arizona, I’m not sure I believed that there was an actual roadrunner! It is always cool to see them. They’re not nearly as big as the roadrunner looks in the cartoon though!
I just read your comment and it brought a smile to my face. When I was a kid my grandparents moved to New Mexico. We went to visit them when I was almost seven and I just remembered how excited I was to see a roadrunner and how small they seemed to me.

It is funny how that cartoon had such a big impact on us, and our reactions to a bird!
